本科目提出了供应链及后勤管理中战略方面的问题与业务方面的问题。主要课题是后勤管理的战略性原则、供应链及后勤系统设计、后勤中的客户服务、后勤中的信息系统、订购处理、仓库业务、资材处理等。另外,本专业最近还在就第三方物流、供应商管理库存、联合供应链管理等供应链管理问题展开讨论。

Technology Marketing
The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding of 1) the important issues related to marketing high-technology products, 2) marketing strategy development and implementation, 3) product innovation and development, 4) R&D alliance and 5) customer relationship management. The class will be a mixture of lecture and critical discussion of theory and practical cases. To enliven the interactive discussion, students are expected to have read the text and analyzed the cases before class.
Strategic Service Management for Technology Companies
A large percentage of the revenue for technology companies is, in fact, coming from the services for customers. Yet, management of the technology companies is usually not much aware of the importance of the services. They tend to spend too much time and effort to develop new technologies and quality products, but not to create innovative services for customers.
This course focuses on the strategic service management issues of the technology companies, so that they could adopt more ‘market-in’ thinking process in order to find better business model which will bring more revenues from the existing customer relationships.

Life Sciences : A Business Perspective
The course will provide an introduction for participants into the business dynamics involved within the US$800bil global Biomedical Healthcare industry. The emphasis throughout the course is on providing participants with a framework of knowledge to understand the trends within the industry – especially in the way that it affects Pharmabio and Medical Device companies like: Pfizer, Amgen, Medtronic, and JnJ. While prior scientific knowledge is not required, participants have to be open to learning about how technologies are changing the way which drugs and medical devices are being developed, manufactured, and marketed.
