Waseda’s summer uchimizu event was held at Waseda Campus in front of Building 10.

Uchimizu is a traditional Japanese activity where participants sprinkle water in gardens and streets in order to cool the immediate area. Participants at Waseda’s event laughed as they enjoyed performances from “Tokyo Hana-bi” and “Kaiju Doumei,” and engaged in the playful activity.

This event was hosted by the Atom Currency organization. The event surely spread interest in this traditional, playful activity.
