2008 The university during the summer vacation Q&A

The period from August1 (Fri) through September 20 (Sat) is the summer vacation. Every office and institution and library will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays of this period as well as during the coordinated down period from August 11 (Mon) through 15 (Fri), unless stated otherwise below. In principle, the offices will not be available to help you during this period, so you should start arranging early for certificates etc. that are needed.

Q1. When are campuses open?

* Only Waseda, Toyama and Okubo campuses will be open between August 1 (Fri) and 3 (Sun) for the Open-Campus.

Q2. What if I need a student discount or certificate?

Operation time for the automatic certificate and student-discount issuing machines

• Waseda Portal Office on the first floor of building 7, Waseda campus: 9:00 - 19:30
• Open space on the first floor of building 14, Waseda campus: 9:00 - 19:30
• International Community Center on the first floor of building 25, Waseda campus: 9:00 - 18:00
• Vicinity of the office of Student Affairs Section on the first floor of Student Union Building(building 30), Toyama campus: 9:00 - 17:00
• Open space on the second floor of building 36, Toyama campus: 9:00 - 19:30
• In the office on the first floor of building 51, Okubo campus: 9:00 - 17:00
• Open space on the first floor of building 51, Okubo campus: 9:00 - 17:00
• On the second floor of building 100 near A1/211room, Tokorozawa campus: 9:00 - 17:30

* These machines are not available between August 11(Mon) through 15(Fri) and by 12:00 on August 18 (Mon).

The office and computer rooms will be closed during coordinated down period 【August 16 (Sat.) from 7:00 to 24:00】.
