Kakurenbo-Dosokai is a secret society. The members of the circle call each other by their code names and never learn each other’s real name. There is doubt about even which university and which department they belong to. However, there is no doubt among them on their ability to hide. Every December, one month enduring seek and hide which has no limitation as to search range and time range, so called "Senso" is played with the keyword "always battlefield" and their training in hiding ability is fully utilized. Somehow my parents’ home was located and “attacked” and even though I was on a date with my girlfriend on Christmas Eve, I was surrounded and told, “Found you!" We don't complain about the vigil on stake out, staying in cardboard box solitarily to hide. The eyes of circle members during the exercise is just like the eyes of the trained soldier.

In brief, Kakurenbo-Dosokai is a circle for playing hide and seek.

The main activity is the official hide and seek which is held once a month and the right to have a “dream” fulfilled is given to the overall champion of the year. In order to fulfill the dream of the champion, other members go all out.

When there is no official hide and seek, we enhance the skill for hide and seek by holding the event called sub-event. Anything that we can think of has been done such as nabe in a hot kotatsu on a summer beach and dodging the bullets of an air gun.

Yet to seek a more sophiscated way of seek and hide, we see early education of skill for seek and hide as the core value, so anyone who wants to join the circle must pass both a written exam and interview. There is no film in the eyes of elites who went through hardships. They are absorbed in practicing for two consecutive championships in the All Japan Hide and Seek Competition which will be held for the first time in history. In the meanwhile, everyone has disappeared.
