Although still a university student, she is the female president of a company. We could feel in her cheerful responses all the presence of the founder of a talent agency which now has 150 entertainers. “I wasn't going to found a company at first. I just wanted to do something in which I had to take on some responsibility.” It all began when she talked to several attractive girls in the drama circle to which she belonged, thinking, “They could be models.” “I thought it was challenging to change the way ordinary people appeared through my presentation of them. And, as I'm quite an extravert, I felt happy when models from my agency appeared in magazines.”

She had a lot of trouble because she started her company from zero. But for the same reason, she felt really happy when the business succeeded. Her blog, which she started as a diary of her efforts, brought her business chances. Quickly the blog came to be ranked highly, and, as a result, she began to get job offers. “At first I went around production companies and ad agencies looking for chances, but then I came to feel that I wanted to create an attractive company that they would feel they wanted to do business with. I started the business with actors, but I shifted to focusing on models to match the needs of the market. It is important to do what you want to do as soon as possible because life is short. So I focus on not wasting time and on looking at what's important.” Each word she says has a positive message.

Although she is very busy with her work as a president, she is also active as a university student. She has experienced various club activities, such as dancing, international exchange, and also the Boy Scouts, and has also participated actively in studying abroad and doing an internship. “I think I was right to enroll at Waseda. Although I was accepted by a national university, I chose Waseda because students in Waseda were playing Taiko (Japanese drums) or singing on the street. I felt ‘This is it!’ Perhaps the character of Waseda suits me.” She is a genuine “Wase-Jo (Waseda female student).” There is, as could be expected, a progressive spirit inside this cool president.
