Students who have completed or will complete a 12-year education curriculum by September 20, 2012.

Selection Methods

Screening of the documents submitted with your application will produce one of three results: Unconditional Offer; Conditional Offer, Fail. An Unconditional Offer will mean that you can be admitted to SILS without any further Interview or other test. If you receive a Conditional Offer, you will be invited for an interview and a written test, after which a decision will be made on whether you can be admitted.

Schedule for the 1st Batch Selection
a) Application Period (Period when application documents must arrive at SILS via post) *Application documents must be received by the end of the application period.	January 23 (Mon.), 2012 - February 16 (Thu), 2012
b) Announcement of Document Review Results and Interview & Written Test Notification *Interview notification will be sent to only for those with a Conditional Offer, while document review results will be sent to all applicants.	March 9 (Fri.), 2012

Required Documents for Admission

Application Form⇒ Please prepare and print out the form via the Waseda Online Admissions Application (See below)
English essay
Certificate of (expected) graduation
Academic transcript (from all high schools you have attended)
Certificate of results of university entrance qualification examinations and other standardized tests; SAT, ACT, IB, GCE, Baccalaureat, Abitur, etc.
English proficiency test score; TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, GEPT or Test in Practical English Proficiency (EIKEN)

*Applicants whose first language is not English are required to submit official results from one of the above tests.

Waseda Online Admissions Application

◆To apply, please create a Waseda Online Admissions Application account first, and prepare the Application Form. Then print out the Application Form and submit it with other application documents (see page 12 of the Application Guide for details) together by post. The application procedure is considered complete when all of the application documents are received by the School of International Liberal Studies Admissions Office during the application period.
