About

Since the greenhouse (ice-free) age spans more than 70% of the Phanerozoic, knowledge of paleoecology and paleoceanography in the greenhouse world is fundamentally important to understand the Earth's biotic and climate history. For discussing the interactions between paleoenvironment and paleobiodiversity of marine biota, we investigate both paleoecology of ancient organisms (for example, mode of growth, habitat, reproductive strategy, trophic dynamics, etc.) and paleoceanographic dynamics in the greenhouse interval (Cretaceous and Paleogene).
