One of the professors at SILS noticed that my last name is Italian. My ancestors are from Sicily but they immigrated to the United States of America many years ago, so we no longer have any connections in Italy. The professor encouraged me to take the opportunity to study abroad so I decided to study in Italy and this experience has become the best decision of my life. I not only took Italian language classes, but also took classes related to the history of Italy. Even after I came back, I am still taking Italian language classes. Also I am taking Korean language classes and had the opportunity to study abroad in Korea as well. At SILS, interacting with classmates from many different parts of the world made me even more open minded than I was before. I took many classes which focused on media related issues and my graduation thesis is on fashion advertisement and brand management. After I graduate from SILS, I will be working at a company in the advertising industry in Japan.SILS Students and Faculty Data (As of April 2018)Study Plans (As of April 2018)STUDENTSFrom Henry J.
