There are many kinds of part-time jobs in Waseda, such as teaching assistants in classes, and administrative assistants in ofces. In addition to these types of long-term part-time jobs on campus, you can also nd information about various temporary jobs on and off campus. For example, you can work as a general admissions examination staff member during the spring break. Also, it is possible to earn some money by participating in interesting experiments in some research projects. These jobs are advertised regularly. Personally, I have been working for over four years as a student staff in the multimedia room that deals with computing and printing issues and my monthly income is around 40,000-50,000 Japanese yen. Don’t worry if you don’t have any professional skills because you will receive on-the-job training when you start. These kinds of jobs are exible and you can adjust your working time according to your own schedule. What matters most is your ability to understand daily expressions in Japanese, so that you can handle various situations that might occur during your work. Through these part-time jobs, you can enrich your campus life to a large extent. You will be amazed how well you can manage your time to t in these kinds of jobs with your studies.
