早稲田大学大学院　経済学研究科 / Graduate School of Economics, Waseda University20経済学研究科５年一貫博士プログラムFive-Year Doctoral Program　本プログラムの目的は、５年一貫の教育による専門研究者の養成にあります。クォーター制を利用した積み上げ方式のカリキュラムにより、経済学に関する幅広い基礎知識と多様な分析手法に精通した研究者を養成します。これにより最短で３年、標準的には５年での博士号取得が可能となります。　本プログラムの特徴は、まずは専門領域を定めることなく経済学の基礎分野を幅広く体系的に学び、次に各自の興味関心に応じて専門領域の研究に進むという二段階の科目構成にあります。したがって学生は、各自の専門分野に限定されることなく、広がりのある研究テーマを追求することができます。⑴　５年一貫博士プログラムでは、クォーター制による方法論中心の教育が行われます。ミクロ経済学、マクロ経済学、ゲーム理論、計量経済学、経済数学の各分野で、基礎から上級、発展までを段階的、体系的に学んだうえで、各自が専門とする分野での独立研究を開始します。⑵　博士後期課程に進級するための要件は、①すべての必修科目・選択必修科目の単位を一定の成績で取得すること、②必要とされる総計単位数を取得すること、③修士論文を提出し合格すること、④次に述べる学力審査に合格することです。⑶　修士課程の修了時に学力審査を行います。審査では、必修科目の成績評価、修士論文および研究計画書に対する審査、および口頭試問が課されます。この審査に合格することで博士後期課程への進学が許可され、博士学位請求論文の提出資格が与えられます。不合格の場合には、半年毎に再受験が可能です。　また、修士論文についての審査結果に応じて、修士学位が授与されます。⑷　本プログラムを離れて通常の修士課程（経済学コース、国際政治経済学コース）に戻る場合、本プログラムで取得済みの単位は、科目の性質に応じて必修科目あるいは選択科目として修了要件に算入することができます。⑴　毎学期に５年一貫博士プログラムに所属する学生を対象としたワークショップを開講します。⑵　ワークショップの目的は、必読文献の読解方法や研究課題の発見、具体的なリサーチ・クエスチョンの設定など、参加学生に共通する研究方法の習得です。⑶　ワークショップでは、各領域の教員が専門分野の紹介や新しいトピックなどについて講義し、受講生はそれを参考にして各自の研究テーマを決定します。⑷　一年次の後期からは学生それぞれが指導教員を選択し、その領域の研究指導に参加し、読むべき文献や研究テーマの選択について指導教員のアドバイスを受けながら修士論文を完成させます。This program aims at fostering specialized researchers by providing a 5-year intensive course. A quarter system is adopted, and this allows students to constructively acquire basic knowledge of economics as well as a wide range of analytical methods. This enables students to complete a Doctoral degree within 5 years (in 3 years at the earliest).First, students are expected to learn basic economics systematically beyond specialized research areas, and then start research according to their research interest. Therefore, they can seek their exible research theme beyond the lines between specialized research elds. 1. The 5-year Doctoral Program focuses on methodology and adopts a quarter system. It allows students to obtain knowledge of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Game theory, Econometrics, and Mathematics for Economics from basic level to advanced level constructively and systematically to proceed to their own independent research.2. The requirements students must meet to proceed to a Doctoral Program are as follows:⑴ Pass all compulsory courses and elective compulsory courses with a grade above a certain level. ⑵ Meet the designated number of credits.⑶ Submit a master’s thesis and pass ⑷ Pass an examination3. Students must take an examination at the end of a Master’s course. This examination includes an assessment of grades of compulsory courses, an assessment of your master’s thesis and research plan and an oral examination. If you pass, you are permitted to proceed to a Doctoral Program and entitled to submit a doctoral thesis. If you do not pass, you are allowed to take the examination every 6 months. According to the result of the assessment of a master’s thesis, a master’s degree may be granted.4. If you wish to leave this program and continue as a normal Master’s Program (Economics Course and Global Political Economy Course), credits obtained in this program are transferrable for the number of credits needed to the completion of the course as credits of a compulsory course or elective course according to the category of the credit you obtained. 1. Workshops take place for students of this program every semester.2. The purpose of workshops is to provide common and general knowledge of research methods such as how to read necessary research materials, how to nd a research subject, and how to set a research question. 3. In workshops, information on each research area and new topics are provided to help students decide their research theme.4.
