I aspired to challenge myself, both academically and socially, in an international environment. My master’s thesis pertained to Japan’s role in the Institute of Pacific Relations. Library at the University was one of the few libraries around the world that preserved archives related to the Institute. A wide range of courses offered at University of Hawaii facilitated the background knowledge of my research. I was also fortunate enough to be surrounded by students and professors who had similar research interests which fostered my studies. After studying abroad in Hawaii, I now have a clearer vision of my future: I hope to foster more understanding and friendships between people of different backgrounds around the world.http://www.cie-waseda.jp/en/United Kingdom・Department of International Relations, London School of Economics and Political Science (PhD Students Only)France・Ecole des hautes etudes en sciences socialesSwitzerland・Graduate Institute of International and Development StudiesGermany・Center for Digital Technology and Management at the Ludwig-Maximilians University and Technical University of Munich・Hertie School of Governance (MA Students Only)United States・College of Social Science, University of Hawai'i at Mānoa・Elliott School of International Affairs, The George Washington University (MA Students Only)Korea・College of Political Science and Economics, Korea University・Graduate School of International Studies, Korea University*China・School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University・School of International and Public Affairs, Shanghai Jiao Tong University・School of International Studies, Peking University*Singapore・School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University*Thailand・Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University・Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University**EAUI Program Partner SchoolsAMETANI, Hitomi【Project Advisor】 HAYASE, Shinzo【Partner University】 Unversity of Hawai’i at Mānoa(United States)
