Computer Security Seminar 2010 for Graduate school new students (Fall Semester)

"Computer Security Seminar 2010"and"Information Ethics Test" are scheduled to be available online during the period from September 28th to October 25th, 2010.

Freshmen have to complete following 3 tasks by 13:00, October 25th, 2010.

  • Acquire your "Waseda-net ID".
  • Take "Computer Security Seminar 2010" with your "Waseda-net ID".
  • Pass "Information Ethics Test " with your "Waseda-net ID".

If a student fails to attend the seminar or fails the test within the required period, his/her Waseda-net ID is suspended.

If you have any question about "Computer Security Seminar for Freshmen" and "Information Ethics Test",please consult with the following information desks.

  • Academic Advising Office (building 7, 1st floor)
  • Media Network Center TA(Teaching Assistance) room (building 22, 1th floor )

* External undergraduates must take the seminar and pass the test.
Internal undergraduates and non-degree students are not required to complete the above procedure, but are advised to take the "Computer Security Seminar for Freshmen," which covers extremely important information concerning the use of online university information resources.

How to Attend Computer Security Seminar 2010" & "Information Ethics Test"

Enrollment Period:

September 28th - 13:00 October 25th, 2010.

 

How to Attend:

  1. After logging into Waseda-net portal, log in to " Course N@vi " from "Classes and Course Registrations" on the left side menu. You need no ID and password in this procedurefor logging into " Course N@vi ". Choose "Computer Security Seminar 2010" on "List of lecture for students". Attend all lectures presented on the list.


    Note: If students miss any of these lectures, they will be disqualified.

  2. After logging into " Course N@vi ", log in to "Information Ethics Test" from on the menu of "Computer Security Seminar 2010".


    Note: Please ensure you take the Information Ethics Test and PASS it.
    You can take the Information Ethics Test any number of times until you pass it. However, please note that you can't take the test after passing it.
