Wired LAN (DHCP) Connection: How to Log In
Login screen
When you start your Web browser, the 「バックボーンネットワーク認証システム」 page is displayed automatically. If the screen does not appear, access the 「バックボーンネットワーク認証システム」 directly:

How to log in
The Login screen is displayed in the lower left part of Figure 1 (Figure 2).

Enter your user ID and password as shown below. Then, click the Login button.
- Faculty and staff
- User ID: w + Faculty and Staff ID Number (6 digits)
Password: Waseda-net password - Student
- User ID: Student ID Number + CD
Password: Waseda-net password
Login accepted/failed
When you have successfully logged in, the screen as in Figure 3 is displayed. When this screen is displayed, the backbone network connection has been successfully completed.

- You also need to use this page to terminate the backbone network connection. Therefore, leave this page open. To access the Internet, select 「ファイル」→「新規」→「新しいページ」 to open a new browser window.

If your login attempt is unsuccessful, the screen as in Figure 4 will be displayed. You may have entered a wrong user ID or password. Check to see if you have entered your user name and password correctly. To try again, go back to the login screen in Figure 2.

If you forget your password, you need to apply for a new password.
To find where to apply for a new password, click here.You need your identification card to receive a new password. Be sure to bring your faculty/staff identification card if you are a faculty or staff member or your student identification card if you are a student.
