Waseda University will hold a send-off ceremony on June 30 (Thurs) in front of Building 3 at the Waseda campus for athletes competing in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic and Paralympic Games.
We welcome all Waseda University students, faculty and staff, alumni, and sport fans to join us. Three Waseda athletes on the Japan’s national team will announce their goals and determination for the summer’s premier event, and President Kamata will offer words of encouragement. Let’s wear our Waseda pride on our sleeves and sing the Alma Mater to celebrate this moment.
*We will have a free “W” mark face painting service for up to 200 people.
Don’t be shy to show your support.
