Cafe Francais

ICC Cafe Francais, the eighth event of a series of events under the theme "Festive Season all-around-the-world" attracted more than 50 people! People in France say that New Year does not begin until you eat Galette des Rois (a kind of almond pie). This pie is usually not sold in stores until new year, fortunately however, Mr. Susumu Shimada, chef at Patissier Shima, made them specially for ICC Cafe Francais already on December 14th. Galette des Rois do not only have a delicate looking and sweet smell but also a wonderful taste! If the piece of cake you ate had a pretty doll in it, you would get a crown and be treated as a king or queen on that day. Many French students and students who like France, as well as some faculty members all got together and enjoyed a bit of French culture!

Girls are so excited!

You'll be treated like a queen/king if you find a tiny doll in a piece of cake.

Is this the one contains a doll...?
