Jazz performance by the New Orleans Jazz Club

On November 17th, we had the pleasure to welcome the Waseda New Orleans Jazz Club at our regular Friday Nite event. From 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. we started with an open cafe where people could have a chat and reserve the best seats for the following Jazz performance. Like always, Cozy Corner sponsored some delicious fresh sweets.
The New Orleans Juzz is the one with inherited premitive attraction yet now with lots of fans, which originally born in New Orleans. The New Orleans Juzz Club is the only student group that study and play traditional Juzz. The band usually plays a broad range of music from 1920s music to swing, revival, modern modern New Orleans, and brass band. They play all over Japan upon request.
When it drew closer to 6 p.m. more and more people dropped in and all seats were taken and those who came late had no other choice than to stand. The ICC has reached its maximum of capacity. The band began to play at 6pm. Althogether almost 100 people were delighted by the music of the New Orleans Jazz Club.

" It doesn't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing "
Almost 100 people came and ICC was literally packed!
Hot jazz!
