We prepared 20 different kinds of beans including white soy beans, green soy beans, kidney beans and Chili beans, and estimated how long it would take to move all the beans from one plate to another. "Nanasai", a pack of Japanese popular rice crackers, was given to all participants, sponsored by Daikokuya. We divided all international students into two different groups: one group was made of the students who came from the countries where people use chopsticks in their daily life, the other group was made of students who came from countries where people usually do not use chopsticks. Students only competed against other students within the same group. The ICC staff and supporters also tried the competition in advance but found it very difficult, because all the beans were quite slippery! The record of the day was 41 seconds! Amazing!
