Cafe Thai ～The Land of Smile～
Students from Waseda Education Thailand, who were visiting Japan for a language and culture program, hosted a cafe to introduce their country, Thailand. Nearly 50 participants including both local and international students came to learn more about Thailand.
Thai students introduced youth culture, phrases in Thai useful for traveling, and also showed karaoke videos. During the chat session, participants and Thai students had fun teaching language and introducing culture and society from each other's countries.
Domestic Thai herbal and ginger tea were served with authentic and unique Thai snacks such as durian chips and spicy squid.
At the end of the two hour cafe, everyone danced a traditional Thai dance called "Ram Wong" in a big circle.
