Star Festival & Yukata Party *Yukata Rental Registration Closed!
Star-crossed lovers Vega and Altair who exist on separate sides
of the Milky Way are only permitted to see each other once a year,
during the Star Festival ("Tanabata") on July 7th.
Celebrate this romantic occasion by donning a traditional Japanese
yukata (summer robe), and joining your friends at the ICC. Live music
from Waseda band Beatles Mania, as well as a traditional candy booth
and fun games are planned! (before the party starts, we will also be
making a paper "origami" ornament for those that would like to
arrive a bit early and help out).
Limited numbers of yukata are available for rental on the night of the
party (registration required). We also have a place for changing, and
staff are available to assist you with putting on the actual yukata
(tying the "obi", etc). Of course, it's not a requirement to wear a
yukata to gain admission - you can come in regular street wear, too.

* Please understand that only a limited number of yukata are available, on a
first-come, first-served basis. We will contact you by email after you have
registered regarding availability. Men's and Ladies' kimono available.
