The ICC's first event for 2009!!
Do you enjoy good conversation over a cup of tea? Have you ever tried a "scone"? Are you interested in speaking English? Do you like Britpop music? Do you want to find out more about British humor? All of this and more is waiting for you at the ICC's "English Week"!
Have you ever been to the UK? Or maybe you come from the UK? If so, please share your personal photos taken in the UK with the ICC! Submitted photos will be put on display in the ICC lounge (free English sweets given to all contributors!).
Period of display: Jan. 13th (tue) - Jan 31th (sat)

Eligibility: Waseda students, faculty, and staff members
How to Participate:
Hand in your photo of the UK (with description) to the ICC
using the designated form, or send it by e-mail attachment.

What comes to mind when you hear the word “England”? Gentlemen? Sarcasm? Questionable cuisine? The Spice Girls? How true are these stereotypes, anyway? Let’s talk about English culture and imagery... in English! We will also be serving tea and scones. Anyone with an interest in English culture is welcome to attend!

Since its establishment in Feb 1978, WASEDA BEATLEMANIA
has been realizing the sprit of the age which The Beatles
embodied in the 1960s through its various activities which
include recreating The Beatles sound and also Beatles related
research. The group consists of not only Waseda students but
students from other universities and even office workers.
WASEDA BEATLEMANIA is for all people who love The Beatles
and their culture!
