October 27 – 31, 2008
Egyptian Week

The year of 2007 marked the 50th anniversary of the signing of the cultural agreement between Japan and Egypt and a variety of commemorative events took place during that year. The year of 2008 marks the Japan-Egypt Year of Science and Technology. Through these initiatives, it is expected that the ties between the two countries will grow even more strongly in the academic field as well. The ICC will take this opportunity to hold “ICC Egyptian Week” , under the generous cooperation of the Egyptian Embassy in Tokyo, for the purpose of strengthening cross-cultural interaction and promoting friendship and mutual understanding between Egypt and Japan. Take this opportunity to feel and learn more about fascinating Egyptian culture firsthand!
