Sumi-e Ink Painting
~ Make your very own postcard ~

“Sumi-e” is an art form unique to the East.
In Sumi-e, the artist creates images simply with ink and a brush by painting onto “Washi” (Japanese paper) using light and shade. Why not try Sumi-e for yourself? A professional instructor will give you all the advice you need to get started.

You can try painting bamboo, plum blossoms or even Chinese characters on a postcard that you can take home with you, or send to friends and family.

★Complementary Japanese tea and sweets will be served.★
