The return of the English Hour!
It's been a while, but the ICC's English hour is back and better than ever! This April, the ICC is planning not one... not two... but THREE English Hour sessions, all with distinct and interesting topics.
For those of you new to the ICC's English hour, as the name suggests English is the official language, and people of all language ability levels participate, so there's no reason to be shy! Friendly members of staff from the ICC will also be there to help you out. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to practice your English in a relaxed atmosphere over a cup of coffee, and make new friends at the same time!

Session 1 (topic):
ICC's North American Festival - Event Suggestion Chat Session
Details:
The latest installment in the ICC's popular "Country Festival" event series is a feature on the U.S., Canada and Mexico. For those of you with an interest in North America, who are interested in participating as an event supporter, we would love to hear from you! Possible event themes could include such topics as politics, economics, history, popular culture, nature, sports, food, music, travel... it's up to you! Feel free to bring along any event proposals that you have in mind, so that we can discuss them together. Even if you don't have any concrete ideas yet, we would still appreciate your valuable input and suggestions!

Session 2 (topic) :
School life @ Waseda
Details: What are you studying at Waseda? What do you plan to do after graduation? What kind of extracurricular club activities are you participating in? This is a chance for you to discuss your school life with the rest of the group... in English! Held conveniently after the ICC's "Welcome Cafe" event.

ICC Diversity Program – Event Suggestion Chat Session
Details: Have you heard of the ICC's Diversity Program? Waseda University is made up of a diverse range of people from many different backgrounds. The Diversity Program aims to utilize this valuable resource, by raising awareness on campus regarding disability and diversity through a variety of events and activities. If you have any ideas, suggestions or even concrete proposals for future events that fit this category, please join us for an informal chat session.
