International Students Welcome!
The Japanese Festa, organized at the start of every semester to welcome new nternational students, will be held as usual next semester. Through this festa we hope to give them a smooth transition to studying at Waseda and living in Japan. The ICC is recruiting event supporters among current international students like you for your special knowledge and experience in these topics. In addition, it would be a valuable adventure for you to work side by side with local students, creating a series of activities that present Japanese traditional and contemporary cultures, introduce useful information about staying in a foreign country, and most of all, offer a fresh and stimulating start to life at Waseda!
Please come to an Info Session to hear more regarding this festa!
Contribute as much time as you are willing to commit and have a
FUN summer vacation!
If you are interested, please first attend one of the info sessions:
Info Session (1) 6:00-6:45p.m. 19th(Thu.) July
Info Session (2) 4:15-5:00p.m. 30th(Mon.) July
Info Session (3) 6:00-6:45p.m. 31st(Tue.) July
*The contents of each Info Session are exactly the same.
Place: ICC 1st Fl., Okuma Garden House
Eligibility: Waseda students, faculty and staff members

Note)
1)If you are unable to come to any of the info sessions but you
really want to be a supporter, contact us and we will arrange
another way for you to be informed.
2)Attending an info session will not obligate you to anything; just
get to know how the ICC event works and the roles of supporters.
What is an ICC event supporter?
Tasks of being a supporter range from project planning and
preparation to actually running the events. You can choose to join a
specific event or part of an event depending on the time you can
devote and where your interest lies.
Supporters' Working Period: August 1st (Wed.) - October 1st (Mon.)
Period of Festa: September 21st (Fri.) - October 1st (Mon.)
Place: International Community Center, 1st Fl. Okuma Garden House
Themes: Traditional art, such as kimono, tea ceremony;
Pop culture, such as animation, music, games;
Waseda life, such as facilities, activities;
Any topics geared toward new international students.
