When I was in high school, I wanted to learn about law, especially international law in the university. Since I was a little child, I have always been interested in international cultures or languages and I heard that a law is made of a nation’s culture and history, which is why each country has its own unique law. I hope to learn how other people who do not come from the same culture or conception would convey international law. International law is something that the entire world shares and agrees upon, thus I think I can talk about my thoughts through it and of course, can listen to other people’s thoughts, too. Therefore, I have no doubt my choice of the School of law was the most appropriate decision for me and I am fully satisfied with it.
I guess that the best thing about the School of law is that there are many club activities concerning law. It is one of the special properties that distinguish the School of law from others. I could meet and interact with many friends and seniors so fast through my club activities. In my club, Waseda International Law Commission, I can seek anything that fascinates me. For example, in the club, participants attend moot court competitions about international law every year. Through such activities, my friends and I practice free, yet deep considerations and debates about a given subject. I love to be involved in this club activity because I can try my best on my interests in law with my close friends without expecting any credits.
With the knowledge and experience I have earned from my four years of studying in the School of law, I would like to continue my study in law in the United States so that I can share my ideas in law with various people. Though I am a Korean, I study in Japan, and I currently learn about Chinese language and culture. I think my experiences in different cultures will even extend its limit after my future study in the United States. Furthermore, if my capabilities allow, I would like to convey the oriental thoughts and cultures to the western people.

I like the building of Law Department because the building is very comfortable and beautiful. It includes the library, Internet room, Copy room, Mini store and Lounge, which are perfectly set and very useful. Also, there are so many Scholarship Programs at this University. What I like the most are my law student friends and the teachers who are very kind to me. So, I am very happy to go to university every day.
When I graduate the school of law, I would like to go to the Graduate School of Law of Waseda University. And after I gained the high knowledge of law and its experience, I will work hard to join the United Nations.
