The public policies on the field of info-communication in US, Asia and EU are facing the needs of rapid change and reform on legal framework and regulation due to the paradigm shift, discussion of internet and evolution of mobile communication. The US government has promoted ICT policy and implemented ｢1996Telecom Act｣as well as announcement of ｢e-Europe｣ Plan by EU, in order to strengthen their international competitiveness in the area of ICT. Under the rapid change of policy agendas, this project research will cover the subjects of info-communication theory, policy and CIO issues in US, Asia and EU. Government-industry collaboration as well as e-government will be also studies in the context of country basis and regional integration process.
