Educational Development in Developing Countries and International Cooperation

  1. Content
    This Project Study should be jointly taken with Advanced Courses ( Group 2 ) "Theory of Educational Development in Developing Countries and International Cooperation" and "Policy Analysis of Comparative and International Education". In this project study, students are expected to decide their MA thesis themes related to educational development in developing countries and international cooperation consulting with the supervisor, and develop the research collaborating with other students. The research results are expected to eventually present at professional and academic conferences and submit to academic journals for publication.
  2. Course Schedule
    1. Consultations with the supervisor on themes of MA thesis
    2. Investigation and determination of methodologies for each research
    3. Investigation and determination of data for each research
    4. Literature review for each research
    Students are expected to attend special classes conducted outside the campus, such as JICA and National Institute for Educational Policy Research, for interviews with professionals in this field.

  4. Recommended readings
    Students are expected to read significant amount of papers and books. They are suggested during the project research.
  5. Grading
    Students' final papers are prime source of grading.
  6. Others
    Active participation of the students will be highly appreciated in this project study
