Course Enrollment

Degree Requirements

To earn a master's degree, students must have completed a minimum of two years of study, earned at least 30 credits, submitted a thesis after completing the prescribed course of study, fulfilled the necessary requirements, and passed the thesis and final examinations.

Exceptions will be made by a GSAPS regarding length of enrollment for students who have shown excellent results, allowing them to complete the course after having obtained the required 30 credits and having been enrolled in the program for at least one year.

(*) The required credits for completion of the degree can include up to 10 credits taken at the graduate level at other divisions of Waseda University or at other universities (including those overseas).

Academic Degree

Students who complete the MA Program in International Relations, will receive a "MA (Master of Arts) in International Relations".
