I am a scholar of International Relations and its theory. The reason for my pursuit of this study is best explained by the following quote by Quincy Wright, an eminent international lawyer and international relations scholar during and after the World Wars.

Neither thought nor action can be effective without a clear and widespread vision of the world as a whole, of the interactions of its past and its present, of the interrelations of its regions, and of the interdependence of its peoples.
