∇ 2013.07.01 Participants of Summer School 2013 are required to read through the reading assignments below beforehand.

1. Outline of the Summer School 2013
Campus Asia-EAUI Program offers the Summer School by an omnibus form of 5 different universities - Korea University (Korea), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Peking University (China), Thammasat University (Thailand) and Waseda University (Japan)- based on the talks of the Summer School Organizing Committee Meeting. Professors, who are active on the front lines of the disciplines of Economics, Politics, International Relations and Humanities and Social Sciences will give the lecture related the theme of “Global Networks and Regional Governance in Asia” from new perspectives. Students are expected to give presentations that will lead to active discussions based on the lectures and cultivate their communication skills through talks among students from 5 different universities. Symposium presentations by researchers from various field will be given based on the theme; "Transnationalism, Regional Governance and Autonomy – Bringing New Generations in ASEAN and East Asia", Field Trip will be conducted during the Summer School.
2. Period of the Summer School 2013
July 29, 2013(Mon) - August 2nd, 2013 (Fri) (5 days program)
* Attending seminars for 2-3 times will be required other than the period above. Details will be provided shortly.

 July 29th (Mon) : Lectures
 July 30th (Tue) : Lectures, Group work
 July 31st (Wed) : Field Trip, Group work
 August 1st (Thu) : Symposium
 August 2nd (Fri) : Students' Presentation、Closing Forum、Evening Reception
* The contents of the schedule above are subject to change.
3. Venue
19 th building, Waseda University (*except for the Field Trip)
4. Credit
3 Credit will be given as the course; "Theory of Asian Regional Integration I (CA-EAUI)"
This is GSAPS official course toward graduation.
*Non-GSAPS students are required to make sure the possibility/necessary procedures for the credit transfer at each school office
