Course Title: Seminar on Asian Regional Integration I (CA-EAUI)
Theme: “The contemporary issues related to Asian Regional Integration”(tentative)

Eligibility:Graduate Students enrolled in a regular degree program at Waseda University
(Master course students and 1st year Doctoral students)

Lecture Outline
Campus Asia-EAUI Program offers CA Intensive Course by both Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and Waseda University (Japan). Lecturers, who are active on the front lines of the disciplines of Politics, International Relations, Sociology and Anthropology will give lectures related to the theme of The contemporary issues related to Asian Regional Integrationfrom new perspectives. Students are expected to participate in discussions based on the lectures and cultivate their communication skills through debates with students from Nanyang Technological University. Field Trip will be conducted during the course.

2. Submit (Bring) all required documents below to the CA office.
(1) Application Form for CA Intensive Courses
(2) Essay
Please describe the motive and objectives of your study through CA Intensive Course by the GSAPS Campus Asia-EAUI Program. (Within 400 words in English or 1000 characters in Japanese)
(3) A photocopy of certificate of an English Proficiency Test(TOEFL/IELTS)

(4) Grade Report/Official Transcript with GPA(Original)*Non-GSAPS students are required to submit “Application for Courses of Other Graduate School
Offered” with an approval from your school in addition to these 4 application documents.

*Students admitted in April 2013 need not submit Grade Report.
*Please request at the school office regarding issuing Grade Report.
*Please submit Official Transcript with GPA if you cannot be issued Grade Report.

3. Application Period
April 1st (Mon.) - April 9 (Tue.) 17:00

4. Application documents will be reviewed by GSAPS Campus Asia-EAUI Program. Screening result will be sent to Waseda net account on April 11 from the CA office.

Preferable English Score to possess is as follows.(TOEFL iBT:80, PBT:550/IELTS:6.0)You must submit a certificate of English score as one of the application materials. If you don’t have any, it is strongly recommended to take TOEFL iBT in advance.
