Method of Payment
Please pay the application fee, by using one of the following methods. Bank transfer fee shall be borne by applicants.

- Using the designated form "Application for Telegraphic Transfer" (card E), the fee should be transferred by the designated dates at banks in Japan except for Japan Post Bank. Please do not use the Automated-Teller Machine (ATM), a mobile phone or a personal computer in making this transfer. Please note that banks in Japan are normally closed on weekdays after 3:00p.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

- For payment of the application fee at a convenience store, please access the following website from a personal computer or a mobile phone at http://e-shiharai.net/. You must first complete all the required application procedures before you are allowed to pay at any convenience stores.
After payment at the convenience store, please detach the "Certificate of Payment"(receipt) from the "Entrance Exam / Screening Fee Statement".
Please attach the "Certificate of Payment"(receipt) to the designated column in the application form.
The payment service is available everyday (24hours) , including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. However, please do note that the online application (website) for payment of the application fee will be available only until 11:00 p.m. on the last day of the application fee payment period.

- The amount of 37,500 yen, the sum of the application fee (35,000 yen) and the handling fee (2,500 yen), should be transferred. A photocopy of the Application for the Telegraphic Transfer of Application Fee must be enclosed with the rest of the application documents.
Transfers should be made by Telegraphic Transfers.

After payment by Web Application - Online Transaction, please print the "Result" page.
Please attach the printed "Result" page in the application envelop with other necessary application documents.

Application fee waiver program for applicants from specified countries

Applicants who wish to be admitted into GSAPS are eligible to apply for the application fee waiver if they reside in one of the countries designated by Waseda University AND hold nationality of one of those countries. - Eligibility
The following conditions must be fulfilled:- The applicant must reside in one of the countries classified as "Least Developed Countries" or "Other Low Income Countries" in the list of ODA recipients as published by OECD/DAC AND hold nationality of one of those countries (the applicant's country of residence and nationality do not necessarily have to be identical).
* Please refer to the ODA Recipient List (2008 - 2010 edition).
* Applications from within Japan are not eligible. - Applicants with dual nationality are only eligible if both nationalities are specified in the list of ODA recipients as published by OECD/DAC.
- The applicant must reside in one of the countries classified as "Least Developed Countries" or "Other Low Income Countries" in the list of ODA recipients as published by OECD/DAC AND hold nationality of one of those countries (the applicant's country of residence and nationality do not necessarily have to be identical).
- Procedures
When applying to GSAPS, please enclose the following documents together with the other application documents instead of the certificate of payment for the application fee such as "Photocopy of the Telegraphic Transfer Application Form".
Applications for the application fee waiver program must be made along with the application for GSAPS. Application made afterward or separately will not be accepted under any circumstances.- Application Form for Application Fee Waiver (designated form)

* Applicants who apply for the application fee waiver program are not required to pay the application fee. However, if payment was made before the application for the application fee waiver program, the application fee will not be reimbursed.
* In the event that the applicant is not eligible for the application fee waiver program, or that the application for the application fee waiver program is found to be false, the application for GSAPS itself might be cancelled immediately.
