GPA

  1. Formula for Calculation
Students’ grades are converted into a numerical value known as their “Grade Point” (A+ is equivalent to 4.0, A is 3.0, B is 2.0, C is 1.0, and failure is 0).The total number of credits is multiplied by the total Grade Points for the semester, and the product is divided by the total number of units for which a student was registered. The resulting score is the “Grade Point Average.”The total number of registered credits includes courses that the student failed. The equation for calculating the GPA is shown below.
gpa*GPAs are displayed to the second decimal place. (The third decimal place is rounded up.)
  2. Applicable Subjects
All subjects for which a student is registered are factored into the GPA upon completion.
  3. Notification and Verification of GPA
A student’s GPA is written on his or her official grade sheet. It is also possible to issue a GPA Certificate, which shows the grades in all relevant courses in addition to the GPA itself. The GPA is not written on students’ grade transcripts.
