The List of Survey by GLOPE/GLOPE II
Since 2003, GLOPE and its successor GLOPE II have run six series of nationwide social surveys. In 2007, in addition to the traditional face-to-face interview method (PAPI: Paper-and-Pencil Interview), the research team conducted the first-ever CASI (Computer Assisted Self-Administered Interview) survey with national random sample in Japan. Since the success of CASI survey in 2007, GLOPE II has been developing this new innovative method. In this website, you can find the codebooks and CASI survey programs, while the raw data are available through Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), University of Michigan and Social Science Japan Data Archive (SSJDA), Institute of Social Science, University of Tokyo.
