Waseda University aims to carrying out the institutionalization of lifelong education for all areas of study, functioning as an open university in all areas and for all generations. At the undergraduate and graduate school level, working adults and other members of society can take the entrance examination designed for adult learners and members of society, the AO entrance examination, and others. At the School of Human Sciences, a correspondence course has been established and our Extension Center functions as one of the leading lifelong education organizations in Japan. In addition, a large number of courses are being offered that utilize the Internet.
