The primary objectives of this center are: research into and education in media networks and informatics, and research into and development of academic information resources and network access environments.

The Media Network Center provides the faculty, staff and student body of the university with various communications and computing resources, which are used via the campus-wide TCP/IP network. In addition to access to the Internet, computer classrooms and self-study rooms are available to support class activities and independent study by students.
