Objectives and concepts of WEEE

Objectives of WEEE: Energy and Resources give rise to major issue of the Environment, which can be explained as one of the circulations in society, such as the entrance and exit, and utilizing object and its result. Therefore, WEEE provides education and research regarding energy, resources and the environment.

Concepts of WEEE: WEEE welcomes students who are not only new college graduates, but also people who have experience in various fields, such as government and business. The view point of each student is respected, and students are expected to discuss breakthroughs and resolution of matters by taking advantage of the neutrality of the university. There are 4 concepts of education and research at WEEE.

  • Integrated academic-field approach : education and research that is integrated with methods and systems from various fields.
  • The collaborative work of five-groups : education and research based on the collaborative work of people (local residents), industry (corporate citizens), government (administrative citizens), academia (academic citizens), and overseas (overseas citizens).
  • Thoroughness of the doctrine in the Field, Original and Reality -- utilizing society as an experimental field : advanced OJT education which meets the needs of the times to understand and analyze problems in the real world and create approaches and resolutions by experiment and demonstration.
  • Practical technology and methods for society : technology and methods expected to materialize as a social-economy system aimed at a wide use of academic achievements.
