The School of Education has the following seven departments:
- Department of Education
- Department of Japanese Language and Literature
- Department of English Language and Literature
- Department of Social Studies
- Department of Science
- Department of Mathematics
- Department of Cultural Sciences
The Department of Education provides four majors: Education Major, Adult and Community Education Major, Educational Psychology Major and Primary Education Major.
The Department of Social Studies provides two majors: Geography and History Major and Social Science Major.
The Department of Science also provides two majors: Biology Major and Earth Science Major.
The functions of each department and majors are described later.
In addition, Department of Science Mathematics Major and Interdisciplinary Program are provided for students who are enrolled before YR 2006
