WASEDAe-school The STUDY for “STEP-UP” Human Behavior and
Environment Sciences Health and Social Welfare Human Informatics and
Cognitive Sciences

The e-learning courses in the School of Human Sciences, Waseda University (e-school), are intended to provide through lifelong education and are the first of their kind in Japan to offer degrees through e- learning.

The e-school was launched in 2003 and 1,015 students graduated by March, 2015. Although this represents approximately 60% of the students enrolled, when one considers that an average of only 5% of students enrolled in existing correspondence courses around the world complete all courses, this is a truly impressive achievement and has earned high praise both from within the university and from outside sources.

E-school heralds the beginning of a new stage of learning.

We truly look forward to your participation and to contributing to the history of this next-generation education system hand-in-hand with you, our students.
