International Symposium
"Toward East Asian Economic Integration"
(January 19, 2008)

The Digital Campus Consortium (DCC) holds the international symposium to summarize the achievements on the international joint online courses conducted with partner Asian Universities, titled "Toward East Asian Economic Integration". Representative students from Waseda and overseas universities participating in the courses ("Toward the Establishment of East Asian Community" and "FTAs in East Asia") make a report on their own course, followed by the keynote speech and the panel discussion among the participating professors. Looking at the results of the courses as prototypes for the Asia Cyber College, we hope to share our vision for fostering global citizens taking an active part in Asia.

The symposium will be broardcasted on live through the internet. Please click HERE for details.

This symposium will be held as a part of the symposium series hosted by Global Institute for Asian Regional Integration, Waseda University Global COE Program..
