Dr. Tereso S. Tullao, Jr., a professor at De La Salle University (Philippines) visited Waseda University for three days between April 24 and 26, 2006.
During his visit, on-demand lectures that will be provided at the international joint online course entitled "Toward the Establishment of East Asian Community" that is to take place in the latter half of this year, were recorded in the newly setup studio in Building 26. Students under the guidance of Professor Shujiro Urata from Waseda University's Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies attended the lecture, and a lively question and answer session took place during a break in the recording.
In the afternoon of April 25, a discussion session took place, participated by Professor Urata, Professor Tullao and Waseda students enrolled in the above course. During the session, the students actively asked the questions to Professor Tullao including the videoconference with De La Salle Univesity students that is to take place in the latter half of the year. It was an extremely fruitful session.
