Special lecture by Dr. Emma Teodoro



  

Special lecture titled, ''Women in Business in the Philippines' was held at Multipurpose Media Room (B1, the 26th Bld.) on the 1st June, 2006.

Dr. Teodoro is a president of an IT company in the Philippines and active in business internationally.  In this lecture, she described the status of Filipino women and their working condition taking into account the history of the Philippines and their culture.  She also gave us nine tips for women to succeed in business internationally, based on her abounding experience. 

The lecture was transmitted simultaneously to Namseoul University, Korea via videoconference system.  Students from both Japan and Korea actively participated in the question and answer session by asking her questions.
