Between April 2 and 5, 2006, a group visited De La Salle University and University of the Philippines to offer proposals regarding the development of CCDL program and participation in international joint online courses.

1. De La Salle University
In order to develop the current CCDL program that has been implemented since 1999, Professor Michiko Nakano presented comprehensive proposals for distance learning programs and proposals for new systems to be used in CCDL programs to Dr. Julius Maridable, Vice-President for Academics and Research, and seven other attendees.
The course outline for the new international joint online course entitled, "Toward the Establishment of East Asian Community", scheduled to run in the latter half of 2006, was explained to Professor Tereso Tullao, Jr., who is in charge of the course at De La Salle University, followed by the exchange of opinions regarding the implementation of lectures.
Regarding the technological support system, Mr. Benison Yap Cu, Director of External Linkages and Mr. Brian Co, Director of Information Technology Center promised to provide organizational support for our joint distance learning programs.

2. University of the Philippines
At the meeting, Professor Michiko Nakano gave explanations and provided proposals for participation in CCDL program and the "World Englishes an Miscommunications " course to Dr. Victoria Bautista, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and seven other attendees.
Mr. Naoji Takagi, Executive Director of Waseda University, gave an outline of the Digital Campus Consortium's activities and suggested their participation in the Forum for On-Demand Lecture Circulation.
During the meeting, many questions were posed by the attendees of University of the Philippines, which led to the lively exchange of opinions icluding the possibility for future collaborations.
