Action plan for DCC Phase 3 (2005 - 2007)
  1. Supporting the activity of the Forum for On-Demand Lecture Circulation (FOLC)
    1. A market for mutual circulation of unique and attractive on-demand lectures among universities
    2. 43 academic members and 22 corporation members (as of March 3, 2005)
    3. Industry sponsored lectures provided under corporate names
  2. Supporting the activity of the Accreditation Council for Practical Abilities (ACPA) (NPO)
    1. Correct the mismatch between job seekers and employers and develop outstanding human resources with practical skills
    2. The only institution in Japan to evaluate and recognize the skills of individuals through cooperation with academia and industry
  3. Supporting the establishment of the Cyber University Consortium (CUC)
    1. Project on joint online courses with major universities in the Asia-Pacific region.
    2. Korea University, Fudan University, the National University of Singapore, Thammasat University, Waseda University
  4. Supporting the activity of the Open Source Software (OSS) Research Institute
    1. Educational research and human resources development into OSS centered mainly in Japan, China and Korea
    2. Spread of the transition to OSS for on-demand lectures (Oic)/university standard business systems (WISDOM/U)

Creation of an Asia Cyber College
  1. Develop and expand 21st Century style educational programs out into the world and create truly international people who mutually recognize different cultures and diversity
  2. Base of establishment in East Asian countries and regions (Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan, etc.)
  3. A college formed with the DCC as the main body and corporations and universities from the various nations as the core entities
  4. Start from practical specialized fields such as IT education and foreign language education, etc.
