外国人研究員の日本語講座受講について

Japanese Language Program for Foreign Scholars
Information and Application Procedures

早稲田大学大学院研究科および研究所・研究センターで、受入れを行っている外国人研究員等が、日本語教育研究センター設置の外国人留学生対象の日本語講座受講を希望する場合は、下記により所定の受講申請手続きを行ってください。

When foreign scholars, researching at the Graduate School or the Institutes etc. at Waseda University, wish to take the Japanese Language Course for foreign students at the Center for Japanese Language, he/she must take the following procedures.

　１．受講できる資格者
Status/Qualification

受講申請ができる方は下記のとおりです。
　ａ．交換研究員　
　ｂ．訪問学者　
　ｃ．外国人研究員　
　ｄ．上記に準ずると日本語センターが認める者　

＊ご家族の方は受講できません。ご了承ください。

Courses are open to:
a.Exchange Professor
b.Visiting Professor
c.Visiting Scholar
d. Those who are approved to be treated as abc by CJL
Unfortunately, your family members cannot take Japanese classes.

　２．受講できる日本語講座
Course Descriptions

＜「学部・大学院生用日本語講座」に記載されている科目を受講できます。これらは、本来、早稲田大学に在籍している留学生のための日本語講座です。

早稲田大学で事前に行われるプレイスメントテスト（日本語能力判定試験）により決定されたレベル（１～８レベル）に基づいて、クラスを選択履修できます。

所属が西早稲田キャンパスの場合は、西早稲田キャンパスで開講されるクラスを履修することも可能です。

<Japanese Course for Undergraduate / Graduate Students（Refer to the blue pamphlet）>

This course is for foreign graduate students at Waseda University.

Students are assigned to an appropriate level of Japanese by the placement test which they take beforehand of their class registration. Please choose classes of your level and make class registration instructed by CJL office.

Classes are also available at the Nishi-waseda campus for students of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering.

設置科目 Classes

全て半期の授業です。　All classes are semester (half-year) course.

　３．受講期間
Duration of Courses

外国人研究員としての受入期間の範囲内で、原則として１年間または１学期間とします。

All courses last one year or one semester.

　春学期（前期）Spring Semester

　秋学期（後期）Fall Semester

　※休講日等は、早稲田大学の大学歴に基づきます。

　４．授業料
Tuition

１学期間　１単位　10,000円
10,000 yen for one semester, one credit

（Example）　

納入した聴講料は、いかなる事情があっても返却しません 。
※上記聴講料は、2010年度分であり、2011年度は変更する場合があります。
※聴講料の支払は、全国どの銀行でもできます。必ず日本語センター所定の用紙を使用し、振り込み期間内に、銀行の窓口で振り込んでください。

Fees cannot be refunded for any reasons.
The tuition fees listed above are the fees for the academic year 2009.
You are required to complete the tuition payment at bank until the due date.
You can go to any bank in Japan, but you must use the payment form provided by the CJL office at the bank counter.

　５．申請期間
Application Period

所定の期間に申請しなければなりません。授業開始後の申請については、日本語センターまでお問い合わせください。

As a general rule, the application must be submitted during the registration

　６．申請書類および方法
Required Documents

　受講を希望する場合は、受入教員等の承諾を受け、所定の「日本語講座受講申請書・日本語講座受講依頼書」を国際課（22号館４階）に提出してください。
“Application for Japanese Language Course” should be submitted to the International Office, Waseda University (at building #22, 4th floor).

　７．プレイスメントテストの受験申込みについて
Application for Placement Test

日本科目を履修するためには、必ずプレイスメントテストを受験しなければなりません。日本語センターホームページより、事前にプレイスメントテストの受験申込みをしてください。

You cannot register for Japanese language classes unless you take the lacement Test. Please take the Placement Test. Guide is here.

　８．プレイスメントテストおよび科目登録の日程

　９．受講許可の可否について
Selection

Selection will be made on the basis of the application documents and placement test results.The permission will not be given in the following cases.
Applicants submit application documents after the application period.
Applicants can’t continue to take classes for one semester.
There is no suitable class for the applicant’s level, or the class reached the fixed number.
