Why did I choose to come to Waseda.
I chose Waseda because of its location and reputation. I also liked the set up of the new SILS program in which you take classes with Japanese students. It was also one of only two schools in Japan with an agreement with my home university.
How is life at Waseda so far?
It is very interesting to say the least. I am able to experience so many things that I could never experience if I was still in my home country. For future careers or for life, I have gained great experience. Quite truthfully, I can say some of the best moments of my life have been spent in Tokyo and Waseda.
Advice for prospective exchange students.
The classes are extremely interesting. So do not just take ones that you need, take ones that you are interested in. Along the same lines, Tokyo is a place rich in opportunities, so get an internship, explore@Tokyo on foot, and take many trips. It can be very fulfilling.
