Top >> Intensive Japanese Language Program Top >> Prior to Application - Application Materials - Exchange applicants to the Intensive Japanese Language Program must meet all of the following conditions: At the time of application, students must currently be enrolled at the undergraduate or graduate level at universities with exchange agreements with Waseda University. Students must be continuously enrolled until the end of the exchange study period at Waseda University. * Faculty members and research assistants are not eligible for this exchange program. Students must have demonstrated excellent academic and personal records at their universities. Academic records of all courses, not only Japanese language, will be taken into consideration in the selection at Waseda University. Students must have strong motivation to learn Japanese. Japanese language proficiency is not necessarily required. <Note> Students who may require additional support due to health conditions, please contact the CIE in advance so that we can make the necessary preparations to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable stay in Japan. Such health conditions will have no impact on the application screening process.
