1. To Apply
Students wishing to apply for this exchange program must submit the completed application form and all required documents to the representative international office of their home institution. This office will then send the documents to the Center for International Education (CIE) at Waseda University. Direct applications sent to the CIE by students will not be accepted. Before submitting application documents, please double-check that you have prepared all required documents by using the
Form2(checklist) provided. Missing or incomplete application documents may delay or eliminate you from the screening process.
* MEXT Scholarship applicants must submit both the exchange program application and the MEXT Scholarship application to the office handling study abroad programs at their home university. This office will then send your applications to the CIE.
2. Application Period
Waseda University requests the representative international office of our partner institutions to submit the exchange applications within the periods below:
April admission -------------- November 9 - December
1, 2009
September admission --------- February 1 - March 15, 2010*

*Applications must arrive by February 20, 2009
(Application must be sent by registered mail / Must be submitted along with the application for the exchange program)
*Please note that the application deadline is different from the deadline for exchange programs,
because the deadline for submitting the application to the MEXT is earlier than the previous years. Please submit all the application documents both for the exchange program and the MEXT
scholarship by above deadline.
