Please attach this certificate if you have not taken the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or the Japanese section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU).

NOTE: Graduate School of Economics, Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Sciences, and the Graduate School of Environment and Energy Engineering all require an official test score (JLPT or EJU). Applicants cannot substitute this requirement with a letter of recommendation (the Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency).

* September Admission Only.
* Exchange students interested in the MEXT Scholarship are required to submit 2 applications, one for the exchange program and one for the MEXT Scholarship.
Final results will be decided by the Monbukagakusho Scholarship Office, not by Waseda University.

* Application is open to exchange students nominated by partner institutions in all countries which have official diplomatic relations with Japan.
