4. Registration and Procedures
Students must complete many procedures in order to study in Japan. These include procedures for the Foreign Registration Card, visas, National Health Insurance, Supplementary Health Insurance, bank accounts, and many other things. Students will receive assistance with all of these procedures.
5. Essential Information for Daily Life
Students coming from abroad to study at Waseda University must adjust not only to being international students, but also to living in a large metropolitan area. The orientation will include important information related to the university such as the student COOP, fitness center, pool, etc., and information about non-university things such as telephones, train passes, hospitals, etc. General information regarding life as a student in Tokyo will also be provided to help remove any anxieties that students may have. 6. In Case of an Emergency
As Japan has frequent earthquakes, the orientation will also include information about what to do in the event of an earthquake. Emergency numbers for police and rescue services will also be provided.
7. Extracurricular Activities
Waseda University works in cooperation with organizations in and outside the university to provide numerous extracurricular activities throughout the year. For information about these extracurricular activities, please access the "Life at Waseda" page on the CIE website and the
